Since its launch in 1963, the Daytona has become a benchmark for those passionate about driving and speed. The reference 6265 in 18K yellow gold and champagne dial, known as “the Sun,” has only approximately 750 pieces in circulation. This model is particularly distinguished by its yellow gold case and its dial, which is printed with the “Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified” sign. The movement, calibre 727, was modified and refinished in Biel/Bienne to meet COSC standards.

Why a Soft Launch?
A lot of work has been put into building the Altr platform and the fractionalisation functionality. This product soft launch will allow us to demonstrate the platform’s functionality and address any potential issues that may arise during the purchasing process. By taking this opportunity to fine-tune our product, we can ensure that our full launch will provide an optimal user experience.
While the Rolex Daytona is an incredible collectible (value $195,000), many of the collectibles that we foresee being featured on Altr will be of significantly higher value. Therefore, we are using this opportunity to ensure a smooth process with a restricted group of whitelisted buyers on a “lower value” yet special collectible. To purchase, users will have to pass a KYC procedure, and the whitelist will be limited to 30 buyers, on a first-come, first-serve basis.

What happens after I buy a fractionalised NFT?
Please be mindful that as a buyer of this NFT collectible, you will not currently be able to trade, sell, or claim your NFT (fraction/s) until the official launch, approximately 40 days from now. This is because the smart contracts for trading need to undergo an audit, which will be completed by the official launch. Once the audit is complete, you will be able to freely trade your NFT(s).
