As we get closer and closer to launch, we thought it would be insightful for the community to get updates on weekly developments and milestones.
Welcome to our weekly progress report!
Tech
- The architecture of the PDP (Product page) has been finalized. The main goal is to provide the user with all the elements needed to decide on the purchase of the collectible.
The PDP will include:
- A detailed description of the collectible;
- Provenance details;
- Documentation (authenticity certificates, etc);
- Price;
- Price index based on previous auctions results and oracles input;
- How to buy. - The wallet integration with Altr was also finalized this week.
- The information required to process KYC has been defined, together with legal and banking partners. The KYC is going to be performed using the third-party service Synaps, which is currently being integrated into the user flow and still needs some final tuning on the UI side.
- Other key tech updates:
- Reworked NFT vault management and fee processing smart contract;
- Improved Altr’s Smart Contracts test coverage with more behavioural and unit tests;
- Started Polygon Events indexer integration with the Altr backend;
- Revamped wallet login and profile page on altr.trade;
- Updated and revised technical documentation for the Altr protocol;
- Integrated a mailing and notification system and explored future web3-friendly notification integrations (https://push.org/).
Marketing
- We have worked on the launch of the IG page keeping in mind the following strategy:
- Present Altr brand and altr.trade functionalities;
- Present the first Oracle;
- Build the hype around the first collectible;
- Reveal event: collectible revealed;
We believe that Instagram will be our leading go-to-market channel considering the quality of collectibles that we will have on the marketplace. It will help build Altr’s brand reputation and onboard new users to the platform. - As part of our educational thread series, we published one this week diving into the Rolex Sea-dweller.
- We are rebranding the Lucidao brand, identity and website. Initial workshops commenced this week with our design agency. These foundations will be used to help better articulate Lucidao’s mission of bridging traditional and digital worlds.
- The team is building out a Gitbook to help drive onboarding for new users. As part of this effort, we are also completing an Altr White Paper, which will clearly articulate Altr Marketplace’s relationship with the DAO and the LCD token.
Biz Dev
- We are planning to attend, and sponsor, 2 important events in Miami to introduce the Altr Marketplace to leading players in the luxury collectibles space:
- The Original Miami Beach Antique Show
- Cavallino Classic - We have initiated the screening of our first Oracle by evaluating the company structure and its business history. We have drafted a PLP (Pre Lucidao Proposal) to propose the Oracle to the Lucidao community before being able to allow the sale of products on the altr.trade platform.
Legal
- Together with MME Legal, we have finished setting up the boundaries of a Lucidao DAA (Decentralized Autonomous Association) The association will serve as an Oracle for Lucidao dApps, providing mainly IP-related services and a further touch with the real world. We have almost finalized the incorporation documents, and will be able complete the set-up in the next 15 working days.
- MME Legal has been working on the final draft of the privacy policy and terms and conditions of altr.trade platform. We care about users’ data and we want to protect them to the best of our ability.
Team
- We have begun trial periods for new developers to assist with our tech builds. This week we onboarded a Junior developer and an intern developer. If this trial period is successful, we will consider adding them to the team.
