Lucidao Update 1.6 | February Week 2
Dear Community,
Welcome to this week’s progress update. Our team has been hard at work, and we’re excited to share the latest developments with you. From technical advancements to marketing initiatives, we’re making steady progress towards launching a cutting-edge platform for the luxury collectibles space.
Tech
- We are now ready to start integrating TheGraph’s subgraph we were building into our infrastructure. It will serve as the foundation layer on which we can query and aggregate data that is hard to retrieve directly from the Blockchain.
- We have started working on the basic blocks for the secondary marketplace feature that will enable whole and fractionalized NFTs to be freely traded directly on the Altr website.
Platform
The team has been working tirelessly to enhance the overall user experience and streamline the platform’s flow.
To achieve this, we have made a number of updates that include:
- Refined User Interface (UI): We have updated the platform’s UI to make it more user-friendly and visually appealing. The changes have made it easier for users to navigate the platform and find key information.
- Improved User Experience (UX): The UX of the platform has been optimized to ensure a seamless experience for our users. From simplifying the sign-up process, wallet connectivity, and making it easier to access important information, our focus has been on making the platform as intuitive as possible.
We have significantly improved two key areas of our Altr platform — the Product page and the Profile Collection page. Our team has put a great deal of effort into making these pages as user-friendly and efficient as possible.
- Product Page: We have made several changes to the product page to make it easier for users to find the information they need. From simplifying the layout to adding new features such as product comparisons and reviews, the product page is now a one-stop shop for all product-related information.
- Profile (NFT) Collection Page: The Profile Collection page has been completely overhauled to make it easier for users to manage their items, activity and profile. We have added new tools and features to help users organize and manage their profiles more efficiently. This includes the ability to filter and sort profiles, as well as a new dashboard that provides a quick overview of profile activity.
These improvements are part of our ongoing commitment to providing the best possible user experience for our customers. We are confident that these changes will enhance the overall user experience and drive further engagement with our products.
Bizdev
- Altr Biz Dev team has been working towards onboarding a new Oracle that will introduce a new product category on the platform.
- The next proposal for the election of the Oracle and the new product category will be up for a vote soon, so stay tuned for updates.
- If the proposal is successful, the team has already identified, together with the Oracle, the first collectible that will be put up for sale on the platform as part of the official launch of Altr. Prepare to be amazed, as it will be something incredible!
Marketing
- The team was aiming to be a sponsor for THE ICE St. Moritz event on February 24th. However, due to a conflict of interest with one of the main sponsors, we will not be able to sponsor the event.
- Nevertheless, some of our team members will still attend the event, and we are doing a giveaway to reward a few of our community members with VIP tickets to THE ICE St. Moritz, which will provide a great insight into the world of luxury collectibles. Note that Altr is not an official sponsor of the event and attendees should not expect any Altr activity there.
- Our focus with events like these is to bring “offline collectors” online through Altr. We have already shortlisted other events of similar calibre with a view to using them as a platform to announce our official launch, in conjunction with PR activities.
- We have reached an agreement with a Web3 marketing agency that will lead the PR efforts surrounding the launch.
- We will be hosting various AMAs in the upcoming month and will announce details on our socials
- We will launch our first collaborative IG campaign with a heavy hitter in the watch space. Stay tuned for announcements on our socials.
Legal
- In coordination with MME Legal, we are progressing on setting up the legal framework for the collateralisation of Altr NFTs. The main objective is for fraction holders to be able to borrow USDT against the collateralisation of the fractions they hold in collectibles.
- MME legal is also assisting us to understand the legal framework around other interactions that fraction holders could have on the platform, which would incentivise the holding of Altr NFTs, more info to come soon!
